ANT CONTROL While a General Pest Treatment may slow down surface ants, it will rarely wipe out ants nests. This treatment is aimed at targeting ant nests specifically. What does an ant treatment involve? Our qualified technicians will inspect your property in search of any ants nests and trails. If we are able to locate nests we will place baits near the nests. Baits will be in the form of liquid bait, granules, gels or dust. If we are unable to locate ants nests we will locate trails and place baits along these trails. What happens when the treatment is completed? After 2 weeks the ant population should drastically reduce. After 6 weeks most of the ants should be gone. The nests will die out of old age as the ants stop reproducing once the queen ant is dead. Ants are very difficult to control and its essential that you follow basic hygiene steps to minimise the possibility of them invading your home.
